Il Melograno—culinary luxury in the heart of Vienna

The d'Atri family from the Apulian Gargano coast have been successful restaurateurs for seven generations—it is impossible to imagine the upscale Viennese restaurant scene without them. In 2008, Roberto d'Atri opened Il Melograno, his first own restaurant in downtown Vienna. In 2015 Il Melograno moved to a new, modern location in nearby Blumenstockgasse 5. When it comes to Italian authentic luxury cuisine, Il Melograno is one of the most exclusive addresses in the romantic heart of Vienna. The discerning guest can expect delicious specialities and rarities - expertly prepared from strictly limited products. Il Melograno also relies on original products from Italy for its interior design. For example, the restaurant impresses with the finest Carrara marble, hanging patterns made of hand-blown Murano glass, Italian oak parquet flooring or around 100-year-old grappa cask walls from Bassano del Grappa. The highlight: a round light dome showingthe church dome motif of the „Duomo di Parma"; in detail.
